About My Nursing Journey & Patient Advocacy
With nearly 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, I have worked in many areas of healthcare, including acute care, medical-surgical nursing, orthopedics, spine care, rehabilitation, long-term care, psychiatric care, home health, case management, and home infusion.
Throughout my nursing career, I have seen how confusing and overwhelming healthcare can be for patients and their families. Medical terminology, multiple doctors, appointments, treatment plans, insurance questions, and transitions between healthcare settings can make it difficult to know what to do next.
Why I Started Our Father Patient Advocacy
I created Our Father Patient Advocacy because I believe patients deserve to have someone in their corner. My goal is to use my nursing experience to help bridge the gap between patients, families, and the healthcare system.
As a nurse patient advocate, I provide personalized healthcare navigation, care coordination, medical appointment support, patient education, and medical record and billing assistance. I help explain healthcare information in plain language, organize questions and concerns, and help patients communicate more effectively with their healthcare providers.
Your Health. Your Voice. Your Decisions.
I believe you should understand your healthcare and remain involved in decisions about your care. My role is not to make those decisions for you, but to provide the knowledge, support, and guidance you need to make informed choices.
Whether you are managing a complex medical situation, helping an aging parent, preparing for a doctor’s appointment, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the healthcare system, Our Father Patient Advocacy is here to help you navigate your healthcare journey with greater confidence.
